The provided bipolar TURP set consists of working element, TURP sheath, obturator and bipolar loop. The bipolar TURP procedure is more reliable because the active and the return electrode should be on the loop itself which will allow the telescope, sheath and working assembly to isolate and send current back to the machine without using body or resectoscope sheath as a medium. In addition, there is a support for a isotonic electrolyte medium (NaCl) to enter and act as a distension medium for the surgery which provides a global view of endometrial cavity and ease the process of the TURP.
