The Bipolar working element is used for bipolar surgeries where the distension media is an isotonic electrolyte medium (NaCl) which provides a global view of endometrial cavity and act as a conductor to pass the current through electrode itself. The working element provides a path to the cutting loop and ensures that there is no current leakage in case the tip of the loop touches the exterior of the element i.e., it is electrically insulated.
