Litho-Med Semi-Digital

Litho-Med Semi-Digital
The intracorporeal pneumatic lithotripter LITHOMED system is an electromechanical device which fragments the intracorporeal stones by direct contact lithotripsy i.e., solid, rigid probe fragments the stones using a mechanism which is similar to that of a pneumatic jackhammer.
Multiple shock waves are generated at a pin point precision after energizing the control unit by foot switch. The compressed air enters the hand piece at a frequency of 1 to 12 cycles and hits the base of the probe which allows the piston to move and use the ballistic energy to fragment the stones.
The advanced features for the machines are:
- Efficient and quick removal of large renal calculi
- Multiple pulse settings for better accuracy
- Pin point precision of the controlled pulses to avoid the internal organ damage
- Minimal bilateral movement
- No thermal energy emitted as operational by product
- Easy to use and no maintenance cost
- Efficient fragmentation of the stone due to rigid nature of the probe
